Eric Glazer has been a leading organizer and manager of collaborative initiatives within the biopharmaceutical industry for over fifteenyears, and is one of the visionaries and co-founders behind the Drug Safety Executive Council (DSEC). Eric manages day-to-day operations of DSEC including member relations, member recruitment, DSEC events and web conferences, the DSEC web site and the database. In addition Eric helped launch DSEC's "Technology Evaluation Consortium" that identifies and qualifies new predictive safety technologies by leveraging a shared library of compounds and the combined expertise of eight major biopharmaceutical companies.
Throughout his career Eric has lead in the planning and implementing of various types of peer-to-peer and relationship building programs and events. Presently, Eric serves as Vice President, Marketing and Communities, for Cambridge Healthtech Associates (CHA), the premier organizer and facilitator of communities and consortia within the biopharmaceutical industry. In his current role, Eric overseas the development of new online communities. Our latest initiative is a new social network being developed for pioneers in genomics and "next generation sequencing" called NGS Leaders (launch of www.ngsleaders.org scheduled for Q4, 2010).
Eric also leads CHA’s marketing strategy, focused on lead generation and relationship building, and is a consultant to leading life sciences technology companies on lead generation, social media, market research and product adoption strategies.
Prior to his role at CHA, Eric served on the senior management team at Cambridge Healthtech Institute (CHI) from 2002-2004. During this time Eric lead the production and launch of the Pharmaceutical Strategy Series, the premiere conference series for R&D executives.
Eric is a member of the Professional Marketing Forum. He earned both his M.B.A. (in health care administration) and B.A simultaneously at Union College in Schenectady, NY, within the school’s accelerated MBA program. Eric resides in Framingham, MA with his wife and two daughters
