Peter W. Moldéus, AstraZeneca R&D

Dr. Peter Moldéus is global vice president, Safety Assessment, AstraZeneca R&D, a position he has held since 1999.  He joined Astra AB in 1994 as vice president of Safety Assessment.  Prior to that, he was Professor of Biochemical Toxicology at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm.  Dr. Moldéus earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry in 1974 from the University of Stockholm.  He was a recipient of the Fernströms award to young scientists in Medical Sciences in 1990.  Dr. Moldéus has published more than 200 full manuscripts in international journals in the areas of Drug Metabolism and Biochemical Toxicology.
